The Section 5.2.4 addressed architectures, protocols and procedures of current and future mobile communication in IP-based networks. For this purpose regular meetings are held, where lectures and discussions shed light on certain key issues. The results are publicly available on this website.

• The meeting of the ITG Group 5.2.4 on "5G System Architecture" was held on 10./11. Dezember 2015 at Nokia in Munich. More information can be found here.

• The ITG 5.2.1/5.2.4 Fachgruppenworkshop on „Cloud Networks“ was held at 24.September 2015 at the University Tübingen in conjunction with the ITG Fachtagung Zukunft der Netze.

The Fachgruppe maintains a mailing list for public announcements. The list is open and everyone is invited to register here. Requests for inclusion in the list can be made via the mailman interface.

You are invited to participate actively in the work of the Fachgruppe (e.g. organizing group meetings). If you are interested in becoming a member in the Section 5.2.4, please approach a chairman of the Fachgruppe 5.2.4 or come to one of our next meetings and talk to us.
